Bonnie is driven by the challenge of influencing new ideas and behaviors in integrative healthcare. She has worn many hats throughout her career in marketing, and they have all led her to her passions: relationship development and healthcare. She gets great joy out of learning from innovators and watching her clients, potential clients, and co-workers succeed outside the box of standard care.

Bonnie lives in a small town in Florida, with her dog Bailey Blue. She loves the beach and sun, laughing with her friends, and dancing to live music. (Whether she’s good at it remains to be seen).

Q: If your life had a mantra, what would it be?

A: When you’re going through hell, keep going.
—Winston Churchill (or Rodney Atkins if you’re a country music fan)

This is also a very appropriate analogy to aging and the menopause journey—why hang out there and suffer? Keep going and do something about it.

Q: If you were a color, what color would you be?

A: Green. It is a dominant color in nature that causes one to think of growth. Green evokes a feeling of abundance and is associated with refreshment, peace, rest, and security.

Q: What is your attitude about aging?

A: I used to say, “It’s not going to happen to me!” But, guess what? It did and still does. So, I work on the things that are important to me, my doctor, and my lifestyle. Consciously trying to slow the aging process and not suffering through it is like owning a boat. To enjoy it, you can’t just take it out and run it; it needs fuel, oil, and a ton of continuous maintenance, or it will sink.
